Certificate CCA
The testing and certification program, referred to as CCA (CENELEC Certification Agreement), is based on the agreement in 1973 of European Certification Bodies on the mutual recognition of test results and certificates for their national (private) Marks, based on the requirements of relevant harmonized standards (EN or HD) with LVD directive.
A manufacturer who has obtained a certificate for a registered CCA Mark from one of Certification Body which is a signatory to CCA agreement, for example SEP-BBJ may obtain extra a CCA certificate called NTR (Notification of Test Results) on the basis of which, in a fast mode, without additional tests can obtain a certificate from another national unit of another country.
NTR is a proof that a representative sample of the product has passed the tests with positive result in order to demonstrate compliance with the relevant EN standard or HD document.
In SEP-BBJ, the CCA certification program covers practically all low-voltage electrical products covered by accreditation based on EN/HD standards.
